This product is for advanced users and developers who want to call M2Convert from another application, process, batch file, or directly from the command line prompt. (all other users should use M²Convert Professional for more options and ease of use).

M²Convert API is a powerful multimedia converter that includes both programmatic and desktop application components. It enables developers to perform file conversions via a command line and programmatic interface.

The M²Convert API includes a command line utility to perform conversions using batch files or straight from the command line. This utility can convert files without writing any code.

The programmatic interface of the M²Convert API provides full control over all features of M²Convert. With access to functionality via C DLL functions and COM interfaces, the M²Convert API is accessible from many popular programming environments and languages including Visual C++, VB6, ASP, VB.NET, C#, Delphi and C++ Builder.

Use the M²Convert Command Line Converter to batch convert or compress files from a command line or batch file, based on settings defined with the included M²Convert Profile Maker application or Windows Media Profiles:

• Batch convert from any multimedia file format to another, while maximizing compression.
• Convert files to iPod, PSP, ZEN, Zune SmartPhone, AVI, WMV, MPG, MPEG, ASF, OGG, MOV, MP4, web streaming and other formats in one easy process with complete control of the size, quality and compression.
• Create still images from a multimedia stream or file.
• Compress or recompress multimedia files using LEAD’s iCompress enhanced codecs (H.264, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MCMP/MJPEG, MCMW, MJPEG2000, Vorbis, AAC and more), or any existing codecs installed on your computer.
• Back up a DVD, a VCD or an Audio CD.
• Deinterlace, crop and resize videos.

Use the M2Convert API and COM Objects for full programmatic control of all of the above features, including:

• Find files to convert.
• Set and retrieve file paths.
• Convert media files into different formats along with optional resizing/cropping and de-interlacing.
