Erase Disc Dialog Burn DVD Wizard
This dialog allows you to erase a rewritable disc. In order for a disc to be erased, the DVD drive must support erasing and the disc you want to erase must be re-writable.

The following fields are on the Burn DVD - Erase Disc dialog:
Destination Drop-down box
Use the destination drop-down list box to select the DVD burner The driver that writes the data (burns the data) to the DVD. It is the software that burns the DVD image to the physical media.DVD image A set of files that contain all of the video and audio content for a DVD, organized with a table of contents (optional). See also: Title The name for a group of related video files (called "Chapters") on your DVD. For example, for a DVD called "My Summer Vacation," you might have the titles "Water Skiing," "New Friends," and "Hiking." For each of those titles, you might have one or more different video files., Chapter The name for each individual video file on a DVD. For example, under the title "Water Skiing", you might have the chapters "My first try," "My first wreck," and "My first jump.", ISO Image An ISO image (.iso) is a disk image of a file system. It includes data files that are contained in the ISO image along with filesystem metadata. ISO images are an alternative to physical media for distribution of a "DVD" over the Internet. Most operating systems allow ISO images images to be "played" as if they were physical discs. These are the DVD writer devices available on the machine.
Open Tray button
Select this button to open the tray for the selected device in the destination drop-down box. This option is only available if the device supports this kind of action and if the tray is closed.
Close Tray button
Select this button to close the tray for the selected device in the destination drop-down box. This option is only available if the device supports this kind of action and if the tray is open.
Refresh button
Select this button to refresh the devices list in the destination drop-down box
Disc Type box
Displays the disc type of the currently loaded disc.
Free Disc Space box
Displays the free disc space of the currently loaded disc.
Auto Eject disc when finished check box
Select this check box to automatically eject the disc when erasing is completed.
Erase Button
Select this button to start the erasing process. You will need to confirm erasing because all data in disc will be lost. The erasing process cannot be aborted.
Cancel Button
Select the Cancel button to close the dialog.
