Burn DVD Wizard - Source and Disc Type Page
Use the Source and Disc Type page of the Burn DVD Wizard to specify the source file or folder for burning.
The following fields are on the Burn DVD - Source and Disc Type page:
If Disk DVD Image A set of files that contain all of the video and audio content for a DVD, organized with a table of contents (optional). See also: Title The name for a group of related video files (called "Chapters") on your DVD. For example, for a DVD called "My Summer Vacation," you might have the titles "Water Skiing," "New Friends," and "Hiking." For each of those titles, you might have one or more different video files., Chapter The name for each individual video file on a DVD. For example, under the title "Water Skiing", you might have the chapters "My first try," "My first wreck," and "My first jump.", ISO Image.Title , Chapter , ISO Image.Title , Chapter , ISO Image.Title , Chapter , ISO Image.Title , Chapter , ISO Image. was selected in the Source Type Page, the following
controls will be displayed:
DVD Image Folder Box
This edit box displays the path to the source
DVD image folder. To select a source folder select
to the
right of the edit box to open a Browse for Folder dialog. Use this dialog
to navigate to the desired source folder and select it.
Play Button
Select the Play button to open the Multimedia Player Dialog and play the file specified in the DVD Image folder edit box. If the DVD is invalid or does not exist, an error message will be displayed.
If ISO image An ISO image (.iso) is a disk image of a file system. It includes data files that are contained in the ISO image along with filesystem metadata. ISO images are an alternative to physical media for distribution of a "DVD" over the Internet. Most operating systems allow ISO images images to be "played" as if they were physical discs. Type Page, the following controls will be displayed:
ISO Image An ISO image (.iso) is a disk image of a file system. It includes data files that are contained in the ISO image along with filesystem metadata. This edit box displays the source ISO DVD image
file. To select a source file select
to the right of the
edit box to open a Browse for File dialog. Use the dialog to navigate
to the desired source ISO file and select it.
If a Completed DVD task was selected in the
Source Type Page, the following
controls will be displayed:
(unnamed) DVD Tasks List
This list displays the DVD tasks from the Tasks List It shows the task name, folder location, and the number of times it has been burned. Use the list to select the task you want to burn.
Play Button
Select the Play button to open the Multimedia Player Dialog and play the selected task in the DVD Tasks List. If the DVD is invalid or does not exist, an error message will be displayed.
Hide already burned tasks check box
Select this check box to hide tasks that previously have been burned.
Used Space Information group
This group displays information about the DVD source size and how it is going to fit on the target DVD disc. The following controls are in this group:
Used Space box
Displays the size of the source DVD image folder (or ISO DVD image file).
Used Space bar indicator
Displays a visual indication of the source DVD image folder (or ISO DVD image file) size relative to the size of the target DVD disc.
Disc Type Options List
Use to select your target DVD disc size.
Disc Capacity box
Displays the selected disc capacity.
Help Button
Select the Help button to open a popup help topic for this dialog.
Erase Disc Button
Select the Erase Disc button to open the Erase Disc dialog.
Back Button
Select the Back button to move to the previous wizard page.
Next Button
Select the Next button to move to the next wizard page. The specified source should be valid in order to advance to the next page.
Cancel Button
Select the Cancel button to close the wizard.
