Use the Compare Media Files dialog to visually compare two video files.
To display the Compare Media Files dialog, from the Main Menu select File -> Compare Media Files.
The Compare Media Files dialog is shown in the figure below:

The following fields are on the Compare Media Files Dialog:
Source 1 edit box
Use the Source 1 edit box to select the first media file for the comparison. Select the button next to the edit box to open a Select First Source File dialog. Use the dialog to browse for the folder that contains the file you want to compare, select the file, and select the OK button.
Source 2 edit box
Use the Source 2 edit box to select the second media file for the comparison. Select the button next to the edit box to open a Select Second Source File dialog. Use the dialog to browse for the folder that contains the file you want to compare, select the file, and select the OK button.
Playback Buttons
The following are the Playback buttons:
Play:
Starts or resumes the playback for both videos. This option is available
only when the playback is stopped or paused.
Pause:
Stops the playback maintaining the current tracking position for both
videos. This option is available only when the playback is running.
Stop:
Stops the playback but doesn’t maintain the current tracking position
for both videos. This option is available only when the playback is running
or paused.
Go
to Start: Moves the playback tracking slider to the start for both
videos.
Rewind:
Rewinds the playback by 5 seconds.
Forward:
Forwards the playback by 5 seconds.
Go
to End: Moves the playback tracking slider to the end.
Step
Frame Backward: Moves the tracking position one frame backward.
Step
Frame Forward: Moves the tracking position one frame forward.
Repeat:
Restarts playback whenever it reaches the end.
Tile
Horizontally: Arranges the player dialogs horizontally on the desktop
to ease comparison.
Tile
Vertically: Arranges the player dialogs vertically on the desktop
to ease comparison.
