Use the Video Options page to resize, crop or de-interlace videos as part of the DVD task.
The effects are applied in the following order:

The Video Options page is shown in the figure below:

The following fields are on this page:
Crop Group
Use the Crop group to crop a video.
Enable Check box
Select the Enable check box to enable cropping.
Properties Button
Select the Properties button to open a dialog that allows you to set different cropping attributes.
De-Interlace Group
Use the De-Interlace group to adjust the interlace options.
Enable Check box
Select the Enable check box to enable de-interlacing.
Properties Button
Select the Properties button to open a dialog that allows you to set de-interlace options.
Resize Group
Use the Resize group to adjust the size of the image.
NTSC National Television System Committee - the analog system used for television broadcast in North America, Central America, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Phillipines, and western South America. Radio button
Select the NTSC radio button to resize to one of the NTSC broadcast standards.
NTSC Drop-down list box
The following options are available:
Auto Size (resize the chapter’s video to the best available NTSC size to minimize any distortion resulting from being resized.)
720 x 480
704 x 480
352 x 480
352 x 240
PAL Phase Alternating Line - a television broadcast color encoding system used in Europe, the Middle East, India, China, Southeast Asia, Australia, and most of Africa. Radio button
Select the PAL radio button to resize to one of the PAL broadcast standards.
PAL Drop-down list box
The following options are available:
Auto Size (resize the chapter’s video to the best available PAL size to minimize any distortion resulting from being resized.)
720 x 576
704 x 576
352 x 576
352 x 288
Note that the resize will maintain the aspect ratio of the input source.
Preview Button
Select the Preview button to preview the result of applying the currently selected video effects to the source file using the Playing Dialog.
Preview Source Drop-down button
When more than one task is selected, this button appears next to the Preview button to allow you to select which file to preview (the menu lists the titles/chapters available for display). Previewing will start after you select a file.
Note: Video options are not available when the video codec A COmpressor combined with a DECompressor, or encoder and a decoder, which allows you to both compress and decompress that same data.COmpressor Also known as an encoder, this is a module or algorithm to compress data.
