Use the File Settings - Source DVD page to designate a specific portion (chapters and titles) of a source DVD for conversion. This page appears as the second page of the Select DVD Discs wizard. After a disc is selected, this page appears as one of the Files Settings pages. The following figure shows the File Settings - Source DVD page:

DVD Contents Tab
Use the tab to designate which DVD chapters/titles of a DVD are to be converted.
(DVD Tree)
Use this tree view to select the specific DVD chapters/titles you want to convert. Use the check boxes beside each chapter The name for each individual video file on a DVD. For example, under the title "Water Skiing", you might have the chapters "My first try," "My first wreck," and "My first jump."/title The name for a group of related video files (called "Chapters") on your DVD. For example, for a DVD called "My Summer Vacation," you might have the titles "Water Skiing," "New Friends," and "Hiking." For each of those titles, you might have one or more different video files. to select/unselect a chapter/title.
The duration of each chapter/title is displayed next to each node.
By default, the main movie is selected and the main title note is displayed next to it.
Also, this tree can be used to preview DVD chapters as follows:
Double-click on a chapter
Select
a chapter/title, and then select 
(play) on the preview
toolbar.
Entire DVD Button
Select the Entire DVD button to select all DVD chapters for conversion.
Main Movie Button
Select the Main Movie button to select the main movie for conversion.
Select None Button
Select the Select None button to un-select all DVD chapters. Note that at least one chapter must be selected in order for conversion to be successful.
DVD Features Tab
Use the DVD Features tab to configure DVD audio and sub-pictures. The DVD Features tab is shown in the figure below:
Audio Track List
This list displays the available audio tracks for the source DVD. Some DVDs may have more than one audio track. Use this list to select which audio track to use for conversion. To select an audio track, select the check box next to it.
Subpicture Check box
Use this check box to enable/disable subpictures (sub-titles) for DVD conversion.
(Subpicture List)
This list displays the available subpictures. Use this list to select which subpicture to use for conversion. To select a subpicture, select the check box next to it.
Video Playback Window
This black box area is used to preview the video.
Information Pane
Use the information pane to view the current tracking position.
Playback Tracking Slider
Use this slider to set the current playing position by moving the slider either by dragging or by selecting the position you want to select.
Playback Buttons:
The Playback buttons are:
Play:
Starts or resumes the playback. This option is available only when the
playback is stopped or paused.
Pause:
Stops the playback maintaining the current tracking position. This option
is available only when the playback is running.
Stop:
Stops the playback but does not maintain the current tracking position.
This option is available only when the playback is running or paused.
Mute Button
Use the Mute button to enable or disable the audio stream.
Volume Slider
Use the Volume slider to set the volume. Values range from 0% (No Sound) to 100% (Maximum sound).
