How to Convert Files or a DVD to Play on Your PSP
Load MēConvert for PSP.
Load files or a DVD. Do one of the following:
If you want to convert a DVD, insert it into your computer's DVD drive. The Select DVD Disc Dialog appears to let you select the DVD.
If you want to convert a CD, insert it into your computer's CD drive.
If you want to convert files on a flash drive or other USB device, install the device onto your computer.
Note: You must be able to play a DVD in order to convert files from it. This means that your computer must have a DVD drive and installed software that will play a DVD. Usually, DVD player software is installed with your DVD drive. If you can play a DVD movie on your computer, a DVD player is installed. If you are not sure, use Windows Explorer to locate the DVD, and double-click the DVD icon. If a DVD player does not launch, you may not have one installed.
Add Files or DVDs to the Tasks List. The Tasks List shows the files that will be converted. The order of the items in the list is the order that will be used to perform the conversion. Right-click anywhere in the in the list to open the Tasks List Context Menu, which contains useful commands.
To add items, do one of the following:
Select one of the buttons in the Actions View to open a dialog box so you can navigate to and select the DVD or files you want to convert.
Drag and drop files from Windows Explorer to the Tasks List.
Right-click anywhere in the Tasks List and when the context menu appears, select Add Files or Add Folder or Backup DVD.
To remove items, do one of the following:
Select Remove Files
on the
Tasks List Toolbar.
Drag and drop files from the Tasks List to Windows Explorer.
Right-click anywhere in the Tasks List and when the context menu appears, select Remove Files
(Optional) Select DVD tracks. If you are converting files from some other source (not a DVD), are converting a DVD that does not have a playlist, or are converting a DVD that does have a playlist but you want to convert the entire movie, skip this step.
Open the Select DVD Chapters Dialog to designate a specific portion (chapters and titles) and specific features of a source DVD for conversion. To open this dialog, perform one of the following procedures:
Select the Select Chapters button in the Select DVD Disc Dialog.
From the Tasks List Context Menu select Edit DVD playlist after selecting a DVD item in the Tasks List.
In the Thumbnails
Tasks List select the
Edit
DVD playlist button.
The figure below shows the Select DVD Chapters Tab:

Use the check boxes to select all tracks, select individual tracks, or unselect all tracks.
Use the + and – buttons to expand or collapse the track listings.
Use the slider and Play, Pause, and Stop buttons to preview tracks and help you find specific segments.
DVD Features Tab
Use the DVD Features tab to configure DVD audio and sub-pictures. The DVD Features tab is shown in the following figure:

With any track selected (highlighted), select Audio... to select which language to convert.
With any track selected (highlighted), select Subpicture... to select which subtitles to convert (the default is None).
When finished, select OK.
Select the Profile. Use the Profile View to select the conversion profile for the selected task(s). MēConvert for PSP comes with many built-in profiles for various PSP devices.
Select an Output Folder. Use the Output Folder to specify where you want to save the converted files:

to open a dialog to select or create an output folder.
Convert
your files or DVD tracks. Select Convert
to start the
conversion process.
Note: All files in the list will be converted using the selected compression, quality and size. To convert other files using different settings, or to convert DVDs as well, simply run additional sessions of MēConvert for PSP at the same time.
The Convert button will be replaced by Pause and Stop buttons.
Select Pause to pause the conversion. The conversion pauses and the Pause button is replaced by the Convert button. Select Convert to resume the conversion.
Select Stop to stop the conversion. Do this if you realize that one or more settings are not the way you want them. A confirmation dialog appears and if you select Yes the conversion stops.
Repeat. Repeat steps 1-7 to convert more files or DVDs.
