Split

Please make sure to download and test the free evaluation prior to purchasing the product to ensure the software will work as expected on your machine. You will not need to download the software again, purchasing the software will give you a registration key and your software will operate normally.

What are the system requirements?

Supported OS: Windows 98/2000/Me/Xp/Vista
Hardware Requirements: Pentium II 400MHz or better, 32 MB RAM or better, Monitor capable of displaying 256 colors and 800x600 resolution or better
Requires DirectX 8.0 or higher to be installed. For more information on DirectX, refer to http://www.microsoft.com/directx.

Can I transfer my license to another computer?

Yes. To do this you need to uninstall M²Split from your computer while connected to the internet, this will deactivate your serial number and you can then use it to activate M²Split on another computer.

Can I order M²Split to be shipped to me on a CD?

No. This product is available by download only.

What is the difference between the trial versions and the full versions?

The evaluation versions of the products insert a watermark in the middle of the output video and run slightly slower than the full versions. The full versions do not produce the watermark.

Please note that the watermark inserted by the trial version is permanent and cannot be removed when the full version is purchased. You must purchase and activate the product to generate a new file in order to have a video without the watermark.

How do I split my files?

Click the Browse button. Add the file that you want to split. Set the destination folder. Then set your target format, compression (video and audio codec), and choose the splitting method (from player, by time, or into equal parts) and click the Add button. Click the Split button to start the process.

Why do my converted files display "www.m2solutionsinc.com" in the middle of the video?

Trial versions of M²Split add a www.m2solutionsinc.com watermark to any files it creates. This means you don’t have a purchased copy and you are running an evaluation. To generate files without this message, purchase M²Split.

Why do my converted files display the word "Activate" in the middle of the video?

This means you have purchased a copy without activating it. You must activate your copy 60 days from the first time you entered a serial number. If you do not activate your copy after 60 days, files generated will display the word "Activate" in the middle. You must activate in order to remove this message.

Do I need to activate my copy?

Yes. You have 60 days from the day you enter your serial number to activate your product. If you do not activate the product, a watermark will appear in the middle of each converted file that reads "Activate" until you activate it.

How do I activate my copy?

Run the activation wizard, which will take you through the steps of activation.
