• The ZEN Vision has a screen of 640x480 pixel resolution. This is a 4:3 aspect ratio screen.

  If the movie you converted is of a different aspect ratio (like the 16:9 aspect ratio used in widescreen movies) then it will not play in full screen on the ZEN Vision.

  M²Convert for ZEN does not adjust such movies to ZEN Vision's 4:3 ratio. Because doing so means either it has to trim from both sides of the video, or it has to stretch the video vertically which means ending with a distorted image.

The ZEN Vision W has a screen of 480x272 pixel resolution. This is a 16:9 aspect ratio screen, which also known as widescreen.

If the movie you converted is of a different aspect ratio (like the 4:3 aspect ratio used in most TV shows) then it will not play in full screen on the ZEN Vision W.

M²Convert for ZEN does not adjust such movies to ZEN Vision W's 16:9 ratio. Because doing so means it has to trim from both the top and bottom of the video, or by stretching the video horizontally which means ending with a distorted image.

Follow these steps to convert a file to ZEN compatible format:

• Click Add DVD, select the DVD and click OK.
• Set the Compression, Quality and Size, and select the Output Folder.
• Click Edit Playlist and select the titles/chapters you want to convert. You can also select the Audio Stream and Subtitles for the conversion.
• Click Convert.

To convert one or two titles of the DVD, select the DVD by clicking the Add DVD icon. Select the DVD title that appears under File name. Click the Edit Playlist icon. A “Edit Playlist window” will appear. Select the titles that you want to convert, click ok then click start converting.

To convert specific chapters of the DVD, select the DVD by clicking the Add DVD icon. Select the DVD title that appears under File name. Click the Edit Playlist icon. A “Edit Playlist window” will appear. Expand the titles that contain the chapters you want to convert then select the chapters that you want to convert, click ok, and click start converting.

Select the DVD you want to convert by clicking the Add DVD icon. Select the DVD title that appears under File name. Click the Edit Playlist icon. A “Edit Playlist window” will appear. Click Subpicture and select the subtitle you want the converted file to display (note that the subtitles option depends on the subtitles the DVD offers).

Click Audio and select the audio stream you want the converted file to have (note that the audio option depends on the audio streams the DVD offers).

After inserting the DVD/ Files you want to convert right click on the file you want to name its output for, select Edit Title and type the title you want the output file to have.

• Connect the ZEN to your machine through the USB.
• Go to My Computer -> ZEN Vision Media explorer.
• Select Organize Media -> Video.
• Drag and drop the converted files from your machine to the Video folder on the ZEN.
