Why do my converted files display the word “Activate” in the middle of the video?

This means you have purchased a copy without activating it. You must activate your copy 60 days from the first time you entered a serial number. If you do not activate your copy after 60 days, files generated will display the word “Activate” in the middle. You must activate in order to remove this message.

Do I need to activate my copy?

Yes. You have 60 days from the day you enter your serial number to activate your product. If you do not activate the product, a watermark will appear in the middle of each converted file that reads "Activate" until you activate it.

How do I activate my copy?

Run the activation wizard, which will take you through the steps of activation.

MPEG-4/MP3 (AVI) - This uses the LEAD MPEG-4 video encoder and Microsoft’s MPEG Layer-3 audio encoder that is part of DirectX.

WMV - Microsoft’s Windows Media Video. The user can encode using this format only if Windows Media encoderV9 or better is installed on that machine. You can get Windows Media encoder from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/ Select “Windows Media Encoder” in the “Select Download” drop down. Then click the “Download Now” button under “Windows Media Encoder 9 Series” section.
