How do I Select the Titles/Chapters I want to convert?

Click Add DVD and select the files in the Add DVD dialog box and click OK.
Click Edit Playlist to select the Titles/Chapters you want to convert (this button is enabled only when the DVD you are converting has a playlist). You can also select the Audio Stream and Subtitles for the conversion.
Click Convert.

How do I convert titles of a DVD?

To convert one or two titles of the DVD, select the DVD by clicking the Add DVD icon. Select the DVD title that appears under File name. Click the Edit Playlist icon. An “Edit Playlist window” will appear. Select the titles that you want to convert, click ok then click start converting.

How do I convert chapters of a DVD?

How do I convert a DVD with subtitles?

What exactly does Compression mean and how do I know whether to use H.264 or MPEG-4?

Video compression is also called video encoding. The goal of Video Compression is to visually represent a video file as accurately as possible using the fewest number of bytes (data) to produce smaller file sizes while maintaining quality, which in turn, takes up less storage space.

There are two Video Compression Formats that can be used with iPhone devices.

H.264: The new generation of video compression schemes designed to generate very small files but maintain great quality.
MPEG-4: A video compression scheme that compresses videos faster than H.264 but generally produces larger files than H.264. The advantage of using MPEG-4 is that it compresses files and DVDs faster than H.264.

Which Size (resolution) should I use for converting my DVD?

Select the resolution depending on how you want to view the video size. The most common resolution used is 320x240. if you want to playback the files on TV you may want to select 640x480, note that 640x480 will produce a very large file size.

What name will my file have?

After inserting the DVD/ Files you want to convert right click on the file you want to name its output for, select Edit Title and type the title you want the output file to have.

The Start Converting icon is disabled, what is wrong?

If the start converting icon is disabled, that means the output folder you have selected does not exist. Make sure the output folder destination is valid.
